Thank you Sumo and Manu! We had such an incredible day seeing all the beautiful attractions in Ubud. It was our longest full day trip during our time in Bali, but was so nicely paced. We did not feel rushed at any time, and the full day was not physically exhausting. Our guide Sumo and driver Manu were soooo lovely and so friendly and took us to see some of the most incredible wood carving, painting, batik weaving and silversmithing spots in Ubud. The views of Mt Batur were amazing, the sacred monkey forest was delightful and the buffet lunch was fantastic. We would highly recommend to anyone!
What a way to spend the day!
Having started the day really tired and second guessing whether I should go, Pakis did an awesome job at making my wife and I feel really welcome and excited about the tour.
He gave us an in-depth review of all the places we visited in Ubud and had a really nice balance of giving us the independence to walk around, but also guiding us where required (e.g the village temples).
An obvious point is that the shops you visit will aim to sell you hard on their over-priced merchandise, but you have the option of customising the tour to skip sections/stay longer at areas you like.
Highlight of the day was the monkey temple (obviously). Pakis did a great job making sure we had awesome pictures and providing a narrative as we walked along.

This tour was a lovely way to spend a day in Bali! We had a lovely tour guide and driver who took us to many different locations. We had such a great time seeing all the different aspects of the tour and were thankful to have such a knowledgeable tour guide who kindly explained to us everything that we saw. We even got some lovely photos taken by the tour guide. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience a lot of what Bali has to offer in one day! (tour taken by Sumo- the most amazing guide we have ever met!)
Excellent tour of Ubud with admission tickets to all attractions
This day trip was a great experience! So many sights to see and a good amount of time at each destination. Antik, our driver, was very friendly and knowledgeable. This is one of the best ways to tour Ubud. Monkey Forrest, Ancient Temples, artwork, jewelry, great lunch by a volcano, waterfall, coffee plantation, rice paddies… what an experience! This tour package also included all the admission tickets to these activities. I would highly recommend doing this day trip! If you get Antik as a driver, that’s an added bonus, he was great!
Antik is the best!
We had a full day with Antik and he was the coolest, most chilled guy who had answers for all of our questions and guidance we didn’t know we needed. He was always around when we needed him, without being intrusive, and provided a sense of safety and calm for us while we were touring in foreign places in a foreign country, allowing us to fully focus on and appreciate the country without the anxiety common with the unknown. I’d recommend Balie Tour Drivers to our friends who travel to Bali just for the sense of safety Antik provided alone.
Beautiful Bali
My experience today was amazing!!! i got to see so many of Bali’s beautiful attractions in just the one day! My tour guide, Budi, was friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining…I would recommend this to anyone looking to see some of Bali’s sights when short for time
Wonderful trip with an excellent guide/driver
Couldn’t rate this more highly. Our guide/driver Budi was excellent, so helpful and knowledgeable! I did a very similar trip several years ago in Bali (including visiting some of the same places) but at no stage did the driver come along with us – Budi was right by our side the whole time making sure we had as much fun as possible and making sure we weren’t overpaying. Yes you do visit a few tourist trappy places, but there’s only minimal pressure to purchase anything. Highly recommend some of the batik weaving products for inexpensive gifts. Luwak coffee also a huge delicious highlight.
Tour Guide Made it 10/10
Anta went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing day. Despite the on and off rain which threatened our tour, he provided laughs, jokes, sarongs for the temple, umbrellas for the rain and water to beat the humidity. He decided to swap out tour schedule to ensure we were able to see specific site/scenery before the clouds blocked them. He was very knowledgeable about the tour, with good interest with general worldly conversation. Would recommend this tour with Anta as your guide. Thank you 🙂

My tour guide was Antik and we had such a great day! He was very knowledgeable about the locations and was a great conversationalist. It was so hard to choose a favorite destination as each place we went had its own charm. The monkey Forrest was beautiful as well as the waterfalls. The temple and the woodcarving gave a great insight into the culture of the island. Antik was amazing at answering all the questions I had and gave further recommendations for where else I should visit whilst traveling in Bali. He also took great photos at all the great view points
See most of Ubud in one day
This was such a fun tour and my driver Chepot was super friendly and knowledgeable. If you’re only staying in Ubud are for a limited time, I would definitely recommend this tour as you’re able to visit basically all of the main attractions in the area in one day. Chepot was very adaptable and let me change the itinerary if I wanted to and skip any activities I didn’t find interesting. My favorite was the monkey forest and the coffee tasting. Overall a great tour, I would highly recommend.
