REVIEW
Strong start to my time in Ubud!
An all-around fantastic time! I did this trip my first day in Ubud and found it to be an excellent way to kick off my stay, as we hit many of the major tourist sites but also had the opportunity to learn more intimately about Balinese culture. It was invaluable to have a guide, as many of the locations are a 30-45 minute drive apart – which I would imagine would be very difficult to visit all on one’s own. Budi was kind, courteous, and professional, and he answered my (many) questions about the local life in villages, including the rituals at the temples and in their homes. As a heads up: they will take you to shops with somewhat pushy vendors, but I’ve found this to be the case with any tour I’ve taken (and yes, I did purchase some items haha… but I actually found them to be higher quality than those I saw in the tourist shops!) Highly recommend this tour to anyone starting our their time in Ubud.
Perfect Ubud Tour with Margot
We went on the Sightseeing Trip on the 23rd of April 2023. The tour was excellent – great combination of instagramable places, culture and fun. We were especially happy with our Tour Guide Margot. He did an marvelous job. He has great knowledge about the places and he could answer all our questions. He was full of joy while showing us the places and we‘ve had a lot of fun talking to him. I would highly recommend this tour and especially Margot! 10/10 experience.
KEVIN & MIMI
Hands Down, felt like a VVIP. Margot (our tour guide / photographer/ driver) made this experience so unforgettable. I had few experiences with tour guides but Margot is thee best guy to call for when you are booking the package. He took his time to explain everything about the culture even to the smallest detail. Margot if you are reading this, thank you my friend. Me and my wife had a blast! 🙏
Best for families/couple with little time in Bali!!
The best part:
Cepot is an extremely friendly and nice guide! One of the best drivers capable to navigate through the traffic jams! ❤️ recommended!!
The itinerary is really inclusive, suitable for families with little time in Bali 👍 one day for everything ranging from viewing rice terraces, active volcanos, waterfalls, visiting their temples, shopping for Batik etc. 😍 some of the vendors might hard sell but don’t feel shy just reject firmly. They are ok with rejections 😉
Can be better:
Buffet lunch at Batur Sari is inclusive. While it boosts a nice view of Mount Batur, you will be accompanied by tons of houseflies (some drop in the food as well) who equally like the view 😂 I would recommend for the tour to change the lunch location to somewhere else pls 🙏 for tourists, if u don’t mind self paying for lunch, maybe U can try asking your allocated guide to bring u to better places 😊
The beauty of the island of Bali belongs to tourists within 10 hours
How wonderful and memorable to do a “Day Trip Around a Traditional Balinese Village Full Day.” Departure from Padangbai across valleys, hills and mountains with traditional wealth of Balinese society. The trip, when done privately, will become much more expensive and places visited will be limited. But with a tour package for 10 hours as if all the beauty of Bali island has been integrated and become the property of tourists.
Fantastic private tour with many sights
Thank you to the tour company for an amazing and private full day tour with many interesting sights. Our driver Cepot was very patient and a very helpful guide. Cepot also took amazing photos of the 2 of us which would otherwise be difficult.
The tour was accommodating, and allowed for flexibility to spend more time at sights we found more interesting.
The Monkey Forest, Coffee Plantation, Sebatu Temple, Rice Fields and Waterfall are very picture worthy sights and a fun experience.
However some stops felt less like a sightseeing spot and more like an opportunity for local craftspeople to sell their work. It didn’t feel very forced and there is an option to skip this.
Overall I would give the driver, Cepot 5 stars. But the tour itself a 4.
Amazing Bali with breathtaking nature, rich culture and great tour guide
Spent a day to see Bali with Super friendly guide Margot. He knows lots of stories and history of Bali and was patient to tell us whatever we were interested in. This always smiling and fun guy was definitely a light of the day.
The tour itself was good but because of the crazy traffic, plus we took a bit more time in the shopping places at the beginning, we skipped some places. Was a pity but not bad. The rice terrace swing was a fun experience. Was our last stop before the day trip finished. Not a huge rice terrace but was still very nice to see.
The view of mount Agung at mount Batur was magnificent.
Thanks Margo for the hospitality.
Great tour
Had a really good day today. Widi our guide was great really helpful. Hi lights are the view of the volcano at lunch, monkey monetary and the fountain.
Thank you for a lovely day
See half of Bali in one day
We ordered the Ubud tour and it did not disappoint. The guide explained to us the culture of Bali while going to the different spots. If you’re a nature fan you can skip all the museums, which is great. Overall a great time and the included lunch is a plus.
Comprehensive tour for limited time in Bali
After I booked the tour, and contacted Tour Bali on the number they provide on the voucher, I was constantly being updated with confirmation of my pick up location, time of pick up, name of my driver etc.
The communication was excellent.
My driver, Jero, was extremely knowledgeable and provided lots of information while we were driving, as well as at many of the stops along the way.
They advised that the tour is flexible, should there be something I wanted to leave out, or add in… however I stuck to the schedule.
I only had 3 days in Bali in total so this tour was a great way to spend one full day getting in a tour of many of the most well-known attractions.
